Why is HUT Rivals not available today?

Just to be clear, you're having this problem with NHL 23 and not 24? If so, can you try restarting the game to see if Rivals is then playable?

That's correct.

Have shutdown and restarted numerous times with no  luck.,

However, at 5 pm ET, I received my rewards for the past week of play. But the screen now says no Rival seasons are available. 

Why? Is this something new?

And if so, what's the point of spending a year to build a Hockey Ultimate Team if all options for online play are now history?

Can you get me a screenshot of what you're seeing when you go to the Rivals screen?

It's basically the original start screen that first appears when you first buy the game.(see below)

It tells you there are weekly online competitions, climb the rankings to win rewards, etc. You cannot click on that screen to proceed....

Attached is the screenshot. Notice the “HUT Rivals” tile - I cannot hover over it or select it. It’s as if the feature has been removed and I cannot play online against other players anymore. This seems to be the same issue the other poster in this thread is experiencing.
