Hello, everyone. Unfortunately, Rivals and Squad Battles have ended for NHL 23. Because of this, they will not be enabled again.
I am having the same problem with NHL24.
At 5 o'clock; after getting my weeks rewards, I got the same message saying there is no more rival seasons available.

Rivals for NHL 24 has now ended, unfortunately. Each year, around this time, Rivals ends for the previous game.
I guess that is how you force everybody to buy the new game each year.
There must have been too many people still playing NHL24, so let's make them spend more money.
If you listen hard enough, you can hear me deleting all of my NHL content from the PS5 and
also hear me loading a different game to play.

Community ManagerWe're not trying to force everyone to play 25. There are still many playable modes in 24 and we are happy people still playing it. It's normal for live services of previous games to be shut down after the next game releases so the team can better support the current game. Regardless, I understand your primary mode is not available and I'm truly sorry for that.

What about the players that still buy NHL24 in the playstation store,
Don't you think they are getting ripped off?
If you don't want to give out rewards every week for rivals, I can understand that.
But why not just leave the competitive aspect of the game on there, for
players that just want to play the game against another human?
Why do you even end the HUT rivals.
Im not looking to upgrade for Ps5 or Xbox series S or X. Why cant you keep it att least 2-3 years in the game?
