Why was my BAP character demoted from Center to Winger?

I’ve done 2 seasons of NHL 24 Be a Pro, shortly into my first season I was promoted from a winger to my natural position of Center. Now two seasons as the best center of the league and back to back Stanley cups later why was I dropped back to being a winger for no reason other than my team picking up a center that’s 96 overall? At this point I’m 94 overall and still the best in the league having won all the awards in back to back seasons. It makes absolutely no sense for me to be demoted to a wing position and before you claim “realism”, there is no way in hell this would happen in real life. No coach worth his or her salt would switch their best center (and Captain) to a wing position like this. Fix this *. I shouldn’t have to sit here a fight for a center spot again just because the team got a player with slightly better overall stats than my BAP character.
