how can you pretend to know that there wouldn't be a big enough pool for a PC version? I have been receiving the annual EA sports nhl survey for at least ten years, and I have never seen a question regarding my interest in a PC version

There is like 0 investment from EA in the product, so of course the playerbase wont grow, instead you have been bleeding hardcore players each year from having a game that doesnt meet the need and is barely supported, from a network architecture to a software balance.Smaller MUCH smaller publishers put their games cross platform.Its pretty obvious that the NHL franchise is built upon the model of "bare minimum investment, maximum profit to support other titles" model and thats disheartening.Every company loses money when they try to make a title larger. Thats part of business. EA just has 0 interest in expanding the product and is content selling a patch every year for $80 + HUT gambling disorder predatory earnings.I think it would be great that people like you push up the message that people had enough and that its time to show some signs that EA is willing to invest in its products or just cancel it and let the industry adjust itself.

People aren't asking to bring the game to OUYA, we're asking for the game to be brought to the largest platform in the gaming market (Steam/PC). Hell, EA built their own descript platform on PC - why they refuse to support their OWN platform with their OWN games is beyond me.

With all due respect, given the EA NHL 23 forums most trending topic is the NHL PC thread, every EA social channel is flooded with messages asking for a PC port, and the EA NHL subreddit has daily posts asking when the PC version will come, I just don't understand how there isn't a perceived demand.In every single place I see EA NHL being discussed, people are asking for a PC port.Also - it's pretty easy to clarify some of the numbers for EA Sports games on PC, just reference steamcharts. Right now FIFA has 48,561 concurrent players. That is A LOT, that is within the top 30 most played games on Steam. Conversely, EA Sports PGA Tour only has 243 concurrent players. That is pretty low. Still, EA Sports saw value in bringing that game to the platform.I have a hard time imagining NHL would draw lower numbers than that.Here is a post from the NHL Reveal on r /hockey, the BIGGEST hockey subreddit. As you can see, the upvotes asking for a PC version of the game are LARGER than the post itself.Here is a collection of comments on EA's official release video for NHL 2024Anyway, this pattern is evident if you look anywhere. Twitter, Facebook, here, reddit, doesn't matter, people are asking for a PC port.

You can mod the game on your PC, so a lot of the customization we don’t get now, you’d be able to do on your own. PCs are also capable of better graphics

On console I would only play through EA pass so with that monthly price being spread out over all your games that about 30c a month for NHL games per person so what's that $3.60 per year. but if you put NHL on pc, I would pay full price for the game and then add Ons and in game purchases so probably more like $120+ on the game within the first year alone seems like pc would be a lot more profitable.
Also, it was NHL 2000 on PC back in the day that cemented my love for the sport just saying bring it back please.
