You guys need to get rid of last minute coded goals every period and get rid of whatever code is in the game that tells it that if your 4th line or 3rd pair is out youre basically getting scored on regardless of the players because the game sees the 4th line as bad and says it should be scored on. Has nothing to do with actually playing at that point

After playing 80+ games so far in my franchise mode on superstar difficulty, I know my 4th line is more susceptible to getting scored on due the skill level of players on the line (doesn't matter when it is in the game) this is just normal to most 4th lines in the NHL.
I have held many leads in the last minute of games but I tend to make sure my 1st or 2nd line are rested enough for it.
For myself personally, no matter what time it is in the game I don't play my 4th line with my 3rd pairing unless it's an offensive draw (less risk). I'll have my 1st or 2nd pairing defense with my 4th line to balance out the missing skill and play 3rd pairing with either of the 3 lines.
I have also changed my playstyle due to lower skilled players and goalies on my team to focus on more a defensive game (currently ranked 2nd).

You really are a Hero lol I could put my highest rated guys on my 4th line and when they're out they're sluggish every bounce goes for the opponent. You can say "this isn't it a thing" but that doesn't make it fact lol it happens without fail that and calling a timeout and all of a sudden your opponent whether AI or online is scoring. It's like it works backwards but you're right definitely not a thing. I should've just not made the post at all. Silly me 😂🤦
Your posts don't mention anything about what strategy adjustments you're making in the face of an agressive opponent looking for a last-minute goal. It's been stated time and time again that your CPU opponent will adjust strategies based on the game situation and in the last minute of a game, especially of a team is down a goal or two - they will adjust to become very aggressive.
Failing to recognize and adjust to that means you're going to likely get scored on.
Community ManagerAs KidShowtime1867 already mentioned, this isn't in the game. Teams typically fight harder to score when they're desperate for a late game goal. If you held them off for almost 60 minutes, keep doing what you're doing to not get scored on in the last minute. Nothing is built into the game that forces this to happen.
