My group plays a lot. Were all elite 1. The boost for weak opponents is stronger than ever. (I know you will deny this is a thing) We keep running into our own AI if we're playing 2s luke we are playing mhl 24 again.

So just by chance, every time we play silvers, their goalie saves everything and ours let's in 4 awful goals on 6 shots?

Yep. The goalie plays the same regardless of the ranks of the players. Without video, we can't tell why it happened.
And their AI is always their best player if its 2s.

Maybe their humans played in position better. If the humans are frequently out of position, the AI will be as well since they have to move around to cover the open ice and aren't in good positioning to make the best players. It's also possible you're not setting your strategies to counter how your opponent's are playing.
