2 guys in my club from Montreal. They both cry when their ping is more than 5. They say it’s unplayable at 30 which is normal for me.
I’m in Ohio and the best ping I ever get is like 20 on the Central server.
I asked a few friends yesterday night in a random game, both around Montreal, I had a 34 ping, another 32 and the other 28...And my brother have about the same as me. It's in 6s Chel. So I'm about right where I should be. Once we had a 15 ping but most were averaging 20-30 and a few in the 40s.
I dont know where your friends live exactly or what kind of internet they have but I dont remember ever have a ping of 5 in Chel. I have 400mbit/s internet, way more than enough.
