I'm old enough to remember the "battles for Quebec." One of the NHL's best rivalries at the time.
Well i'm a Swede and back in the days we couldn't see much NHL so you bought NHL magazines to follow it, remember when I went to Börje Salming's hockey school and Mats Sundin was there and then he got a call about that he was traded to Toronto.
then they got Foppa, and i have a relative Göran Högosta who played there, he was the first European goalie in the NHL but Hardy Åström was the first goalie to start a game.
So thats why i’m a Nordiques fan 😄
and i love their logo and blue jearsey
