Franchise Mode points?

Does anyone know what's up with franchise mode player points during simulation?

Players of other teams (McDavid, MacKinnon, Kucherov, Matthews etc.) are always getting like 120 points/season, yet players on my team can never achieve over a ppg. Ive had top lines of 93oa players with 5 chemistry and A+ coaches, and even if it turn "Sim Engine Scoring" to high, my players can still never score more than a ppg in a season. Ive messed with the "Attribute Effects" setting several times and nothing seems to work. Why can my teams players never score?

    My first thought when someone says their top players aren't scoring is coaching, but you say you have an A+ coach, so we have to look elsewhere.

    First, what the mix of player types on your top line?  If it's all snipers or all playmakers, that may be the problem.  Ideally you'd want to have one playmaker, one sniper, and one TWF or PWF (or a 2nd sniper) for the 1st line.

    Another thing to look at is your powerplay--how is it doing?  If it's underperforming, mix up those PP lines and/or look for an Associate Coach with A+ PP rating.
