It seems odd that this 'grudge match' is being touted as a primary feature. If we're going to see the same old presentation albeit with some new shoehorned camera cuts to the coach and maybe a player who's been tracked as scoring goals against a rival, what's the point?
We were told 'new dynamic camera angles' were coming in '20 or '19 and it ended up being these quick, 2-second camera angles that were injected into the pre-faceoff flow. They're still there to this day - a jarring, seemingly unnecessary camera cut, right before the faceoff.
I just think if they've done this again - simply added a new angle into the regular off-play flow along with a few new graphics to showcase a 'grudge match' - it's going to fall flat and those of us who've been begging for quality-of-life improvements to the rest of the game will wonder why.
