icon passing is off
every time i load into a eashl club game my icon passing is off. I have to press the start button at the beginning of every game to turn on icon passing.

Community Managerit's just not fun to play this game with this new body checking system. please go back to the old body checking system that it was before nhl23. so many players are not going to buy nhl26 if this new body checking system stays. prevalent LT glitching and reverse hits are also going to be main reasons why less people will play nhl26. constant cut scenes too are so irritating.
What about hitting don't you like?
also, i have had trouble intercepting pucks in nhl25. never had issues with intercepting before nhl 23 because a defenseman's reaction time was so much better...........nhl 26 must make it this way. It is really irritating that it requires so much reaction time when intercepting passes in nhl 25. this is even more irritating due to the fact that all players have to do is press a button to pass in nhl 25. Having high defensive awareness, gliding, facing the puck, or using quick pick don't even matter either if your defenseman does not have a ton of reaction time.
Passing has always been on a single button. Except for saucer passing. Can you get me video of the passes you're not intercepting?
at least bring back the old body checking system with no reverse hits in threes eliminator. there are people that want to play the game to go for hits. a lot of my friends haven't played this game since the new body checking system was added.
i understand wanting to limit the goon teams but i think the old body checking system should still come back. because there wasnt that many goon teams and a successful hit/bump wasnt a 100% guarantee with the old body checking system either.
i understand wanting to increase the skill gap but changing to the new body checking system was a mistake. there are other ways to influence the skill gap besides changing the body checking system. this new body checking system ignores the needs/wants of the casual player. the nhl video game has much more causal players than pro players. If EA Sports has a goal is to retain and maintain the majority of players and attract new players, then the old body checking system is the best.
Again, what about the old hitting was better? Did you like it because it was easier? It takes more skill now and we've had many requests over the years to make skill matter more. Also, you have one button for hip checks. Which is very usable by casual players.

Pressing one button for hip checks is fine. but the new body checking is not very inclusive for casual/new players (non-hip checks)

Even if you're not using icon passing, it's still one button. You just have to aim it and aiming isn't that hard.
