Edit:
Ok I see from the video that the teams the player will allow to be traded to are viewable...
But the question regarding things like player requests and promises + player strategy and preferences still stands...
Player power play strategy preferences are nowhere to be found after signing the player. What improvements has been made to coaches strategy templates and player preference templates?

Yes, the same tab with the accepted teams or what not on the player card. That shows promises and season goals.

Yeah I saw that too. I just keep answering my own questions two seconds after I ask lol.
But questions still remain regarding strategies and preferences between coaches and players. Players have no indicator for power play strategy preference.
There has to be info on power play strategy preferences for coaches and players. Not to mention missing preference templates for draft prospects, as “carry” “efficient” and “don’t block” are missing for forwards, and all combinations of “balanced/balanced” “hold line/balanced” “hold line/shoot” are never generated.

I will check this the first thing I do when the game is released. Simulate a season and start looking at generated playmakers, snipers and defensemen.
Not sure if asking a player to change his position or player type will matter here, but it feels like the preferences must somehow adapt. Snipers with grinder preferences will be weird (like it was in NHL 24), at least if it's 100% of the time. I can live with strange preferences on rare occasions, where you are surprised to see an unusual player, but some preferences being left out completely is very annoying and bad.
