Adding new ways to play while leaving the old ones a bit of a mess is kind of confusing, but alright.

You all are acting as if we just threw this together in the last few weeks instead of work on ongoing issues. That's not the case at all. This release did not interfere with post launch support.

This release did not interfere with post launch support.
Then can you explain why there's been zero engagement on the "Match Club Size" issue? This is the thing people have been asking since launch when it was first noticed.

There really aren't any other conclusions to draw. A fundamental matchmaking change has impacted a lot of the player-base and all we want to know is what exactly changed in matchmaking and why it was changed.
We're met with "we'll have to wait and see" over and over and then EA starts marketing a 'major update' that seemingly does nothing to address this core issue.
It's just so perplexing that WoC suffers from:
- 1 person can still pause the game for 11 other players - that's absurd
- Users can still grief by playing out of position, causing offsides and being a general troll with no repercussions.
- A club welcoming drop-in players can be held hostage by said players with no tools to boot them
- If a team's one pause is used up in the 1st period, you're unable to call a timeout in the 3rd. Absurd.
- Players with RP of 15,000-19,000 being matched up with sweats that have RP of 25,000+. Absurd.
None of that being addressed while we see new big head mode and PWHL integration rubs me the wrong way and I know I'm not alone in that.

Again, this update has been in development for a long time. It has not taken away from working to improve matchmaking.

For what it's worth, people are acting like you just threw this together in the last few weeks because it always feels like you just threw this together in the last few weeks. Then you guys ignore the community on issues you either don't care to fix ($$$) or are apparently incapable of fixing. Then when you finally do engage on here, it's either useless/lack of information or comes across as hostile when paying customers voice their concern. Yet, here we all are to do it again this year......

The posts that get ignored are ones containing non-constructive and sarcastic comments. As far as ignoring issues goes, we're not doing that. As you pointed out, when I do engage on the topic of matchmaking, there's a lack of information. I repeatedly say we'll report news when we have it. Yet we keep getting comments saying we're ignoring you all. It's pointless to just respond to every post saying we're aware, we're working on it, etc. so a lot of those won't get responses.
Matchmaking is not going to be addressed quickly. I know you all are expecting that, but it's not going to happen. There were big changes and it's going to take time to dial it all in. We also can't just can't easily bring back the old filters. As much as you all think this game is copied and pasted, it's really not. Putting that system back is a lot more complex.
I'm going through this with you all. The matchmaking system is frustrating. I get that. I experience it myself. The reality is, it's going to take time to improve it. The angry comments we get here aren't going to speed that up. The constructive ones stand a much better chance of making a difference though.
