Slash puck (without puck control) - Total control

I started using Total control controller scheme last year and overall I enjoy it more than skill stick because I cant accidentally attempt a reverse hit while dekeing.

That said, the control scheme says that the slash puck (player without puck) control is pressing the R stick but this does not work.  It works fine in Skill stick mode but not in Total control mode.

Am I missing something or is this a known issue?

Are you also aiming with the right stick? You need to click down on the stick and then flick the stick in the direction you want to chop the puck.

Yes. I tried several times and cant get it to work so just gave up trying since last year.

Are you able to do it?  Xbox platform total control scheme.

all it seems to want to do is a  shot?

in practice it calls is a bank pass?  did they change anything? I actually cant even do it in the other mode now.

Hi there. I've been able to do it, but it does seem to have an issue when aiming up on the right stick. It's taking a shot as you said. Chopping in a different direction, or on my backhand it's working. I'm using skill stick controls. I'll look into this. Thank you.
