Hopefully this can be answered in the near future. My guess would be to ask again after the Presentation video comes out.

Trust me I'm a big fan of things that should be talked about more commonly when they are actual features they talk about and should get basic questions answered.
Here we are a week later and not a peep about whether or not we'll be given HUD customization options. A simple toggle in the menu is all we're asking for. This isn't exactly an "intractable" problem...
