So I traded my star player for a 1st round pick and some prospects that are playing in the AHL at the trade deadline, but the AHL player are not showing up in my roster or where I move lines. I can see them in contract with both having a valid contract for 3 years. How can I get them?
Community ManagerHi there. It's possible they were sent down to the juniors and can't be called up. Take a look at those rosters to see if you can find him.
Yes, they are at the minor team, but shouldn't they move to my minor team? E.g. I chose to play with the Detroit Red Wings and Grand Rapids is my the Farm Team. I traded with the Buffalo Sabres, but it seems the player is still with the Farm Team of Buffalo. Shouldn't the traded players move over to my Farm Team? If not, at what point will they become accessible for me?
Community ManagerIf their NHL rights got traded, they'll remain on the same junior team until the end of the season. If you can get a screenshot of their info and full career stats, we can confirm if that's the case or not.
