Goaltending is a struggle for sure. I don't waste cap space on great goalies anymore. No matter how good your goalie is, they suck. I spend money on dmen and work hard to prevent shots, since I know the goalies will let every 3rd-4th shot in.
I should mention that I only play in Franchise mode. So I switch between players so that I can properly defend, I don't trust the AI, prefer to play all positions, except goalie, as I am terrible in net.
