Why is my controller vibrating

Someone please help. I have NHL 25 and my controller was vibrating and now it’s not. This happened a few years ago and usually a controller update or reseting the game did the trick but now it’s completely not working. My batteries are new as well.

    Mine is doing the same although I have vibration turned off.  Obviously it’s EA’s fault!
