Poke check aim

Why in 2025 does the stick of a be a pro (or pc in any other game) still play like the original game on a 4.5 in. floppy disk.  You try to aim a pock check and it goes flat bladed through the legs. You try from the front same thing goes to the leg not the puck. Why can’t you aim your own stick? 2nd why can’t you actually develop in the minors if the CHL or College hockey in the states. Why pond hockey they be on a team for a few games maybe made the captain. **bleep** that happened in the older games? Now what you want people to pay more every year for a team then pay again for the same thing again and again. You have become a joke. I miss when you actually had competition and made improvements because you had to. Now you just grab money like any online game except you pay for your and others you download for free then pay.

PS do better.

I want improvement in all aspects of a game that cost $90 dollars Canadian especially if you have a PC development part that should actually develop a PC not have to jump through hoops to get certain upgrades. Maybe I have a team that I actually want to play for why do I have to spend 5 years on a team when technically I could have done that **bleep** actually playing on a minor league team. Why can’t you people realize that time in the minors is pivotal to creating an identity. Not just playing pond hockey as at the NHL all star game was not like by fans. **bleep** that’s all I got go away now.

You can. Hold R1 to initiate the Defensive Skill Stick (DSS) and then click Right Stick (R3) to poke from the angle at which your stick is currently at.

You can even initiate DSS and simply angle it to prevent the puck carrier from doing anything without actually using poke check too:

Also now that you can never do the pass across for the one timer why did you change how you get on  the penalty kill. The NPC’s have more stick skills in blocking, intercepting or poke checking skills than a PC. Oh and I can’t forget that a NPC will pick up a loose puck a lot more times than a PC. So then even though you try again and again then you finally win that race because somehow the program decided that you win that race the PC  will gets nailed or be offside. Worst part is you are a centre bit  you play a wing

Do you notice how I mention that you could be in front of a player. And before you actually get control of the stick  you go towards the puck. I noticed that in your video. You may then do something after you press that button but your stick does not respond correctly to where you aim until you hold the button down. Pock check is like a stick lift. Automatic penalty if you’re not careful. So it’s still something to be addressed. If the player is skating forward and you point your pock check forward then you should be able to then sweep it forward to get the puck. Not have to correct your stick then sweep it away. And please not if you were any closer that you would have got a tripping penalty.
