Should have just made BND cards untradeable. This introduction to BND cards as VSfN states. Are useless unless used. Revert this ill thought out concept back to UT. Has always been that way in the past. If its decided to keep this format next year, then make a gateway for them to be more than useless. Like previously mentioned. A swap like is done in Xfactor. Or have its own trade up set. Hopefully. They will just scrap this BND altogether. Not sure what the logic was in presenting this idea.
I believe the logic behind BND was that EA could give us more cards or higher overall cards without worrying about giving us too much fodder for sets.
If you think about all of the BND cards that we have gotten this year, we might not have gotten many of those cards at all if BND wasn't a thing. For example, we might not be allowed to get a guaranteed 94 overall card with event collectibles. Or we might not have gotten upgradeable XP cards or a Fantasy Hockey card with only 6 collectibles. So it's not as simple as just changing all BND cards to untradeable. EA might think that we either get a card as BND or we don't get it at all. And at least those BND cards that we get from event objectives serve the purpose of helping us with the more time consuming objectives.
But I'm definitely not completely happy with what EA has done with BND cards, and also what they have not done with BND cards. There is a lot of room for improvement, especially when it comes to duplicate BND cards.
