What do you mean? It was stated by a game changer 4 months ago that the base PUIs won't be upgradeable past 83 overall. And they also have the symbol (a white checkmark in a blue square) that indicates that they won't be getting new upgrade tiers in the future. And it would also make no sense that they are still stuck at 83 after 4 months if they were going to be upgradeable to a higher overall at some point. And if they were going to be upgradeable to a higher overall at some point, then we should have been informed about that right away at the start of the game cycle. It shouldn't be a secret that can't be communicated to us until it actually happens.

Community ManagerI'm not saying they are going to be upgraded. I just don't know what items are releasing in the future so I'm not going to say there will never be upgraded versions of those players.

But I know that a game changer said 4 months ago that he got the information from someone at EA that the base PUIs won't be upgradeable past 83 overall.
And even if you don't know what items are releasing in the future, you could have been aware of the symbol I mentioned in my previous comment (or if you have asked someone who knows more about the content, that person would most likely have been aware of it). As I said, that symbol means that the item is not going to get new upgrade tiers in the future.
