Can't play NHL25 Ultimate Team XP Seaons tho says Season 9 is in progress

I"m VERY new to the NHL games on PS5 (Or PS4 for that matter) Please bare with my stupidity.

I am trying to play "For you" under "Hockey Ultimate Team". It  says I have 1 040 XP out of 2000 for Seasons 9 to rank from 1 to 2. Says ENDS IN: 172 Days 22  hours and 45 minutes yet I can not play it. I've tried restarting the game and It's killing me. I want to play some Hockey but can not afford 26 yet. 

Any info would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

    Hi there. What is happening when you try to play? Also, please try a full power cycle with these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again
