I would also appreciate some type of trade in set or store offer as I started in March. Thanks.
You should remember that a 99 overall Daily Hat Trick card is supposed to be a reward for loyal players. It's not intended that all the people who pick the game up late would be able to reach 99 overall. At least not before NHL 26 comes out. Maybe if you started at Christmas it should be possible to reach 99 overall by the end of the game cycle, but I'd say that starting in March is too late for 99 overall.
That brings us to the issue that the Daily Hat Trick cards aren't good enough at lower than 99 overall. They should have had better stats so that they would have been more usable at lower overalls.
And yes, I totally agree that 340 days is too much. I'm still hoping that EA would give us some additional collectibles besides the daily objectives to make up for the bad execution of a good idea. I just don't want them to do it a way that would allow people to upgrade their Daily Hat Trick card to 99 overall too easily.

I'm inside the top 350 in champs, top 150 in rivals, I promise I play the game as much as anyone. Time played should be a factor, not just days logged in. Honestly, anyone still playing in August should have these cards at 99. That is as loyal as loyal gets.

I think getting one collectible per day is fine, but we shouldn't need as many collectibles to upgrade the card as we have needed this year. I think 99 overall should be available after x weeks (in NHL 24 it was 40 weeks), and we should need to collect on average 4 or 5 daily collectibles per week to keep up with the progression. If you start late, but not too late, it would be possible to catch up. Considering how much you have played, I believe you would be able to have the card at 99 overall at this point with that system even though you started after Christmas.
