Failed to retrieve data

Trying to purchase a player from the auction. I get FAILED TO RETRIEVE DATA. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER. How many more problems is this franchise going to present. Its one after another, with no explanation, and most definitely. No resolve. Does anyone actually work there anymore? I'm beginning to think not.
