as well as checking first that the specific player is on the ice for OT.
EA_Aljo has said that it's not as simple as we think to force a specific player to be on the ice in OT in moments and it would most likely require a patch. I don't know exactly what that means, but that's what EA_Aljo has said.
Isn’t this the exact place you’d bring up a request for something to be patched?

Yes, but it's something that will need to wait for a future game since gameplay patches are largely complete for NHL 25.
