Is the content team trolling me by ignoring Martin Fehervary because I requested his card several times? Washington signed an extension with Fehervary on Jun 30th for 7 years with $42M TV, which makes him one of the highest paid Slovak players in NHL history. And the content team decides to release Washington transaction cards for bottom of the roster players: Justin Sourdif (2 years at $1.6M total) and Declan Chisholm (2 years at $3.2M total)? Is this a joke?
Fehervary better be getting an MSP on Friday otherwise his omittance from every event over the last 2 years looks just too suspicious. He didn’t get a card other than base cards since NHL23. I don’t know what he has done to EA employees but it’s getting weird to blatantly ignore a second line defender who is better than 95% NHL defensemen in speed bursts. Fehervary recorded a top speed of 23.34 miles per hour during the 2024-25 season, as reported by NHL EDGE stats, which places him in the 95th percentile among NHL defensemen for maximum skating speed. He’s 4th among NHL Defs in penalty kill ice time and in the upper tier for hits.
