Yeah it was unexpected. I believe it has something to do with the fact that we get XP from the Moments objectives and daily objectives whereas we get packs and coins from the other objectives that you mentioned. I haven't completed all of the Moments objectives so I can still see the timer.
Community ManagerI think an art update this late in the game's cycle is unlikely. It would probably only happen if we did a big update that also included art for other items. Luongo doesn't need a patch though so hopefully, that'll happen soon.
