Can you point out where exactly EA_Aljo blamed the player base for the mistake? I don't understand at all why you keep saying that EA_Aljo is blaming the player base.But yes, I agree that EA should just give the token to those who didn't get it instead of taking away the 7 million coins in exchange for the token.EA_Aljo I understand that it is a very high amount of coins and in a way it makes up for the mistake. But then again, the token is so much lower value than the 7 milloin coins that it shouldn't be a big deal for you to just give the token to us. We are not asking you to give 7 milloin coins to anyone. We are asking for a very little thing. And you are refusing to give us that thing without taking away 7 milloin coins from us. Taking away 7 million coins is not a good way to make up for a mistake.And what about this scenario: Someone completed the objectives to get the token but got 7 million coins instead because of the mistake. Then that person decided to take advantage of the opportunity and buy some players in the auction house, after which he no longer has 7 million coins. But he still wants a 99 Tage, and the only way to get a 99 Tage is the upgradeable Pre-Season card that requires the tokens from the weekly objectives. Then he sees your comments about exchanging 7 million coins for the token. He is entitled to get the correct reward for completing the objectives, but he can't exchange 7 million coins for that reward. What would you do in that situation?And just for clarification, I got the token and not the 7 million coins, so I don't personally need anything to make up for the mistake. I'm just wondering why it is so difficult for you to just give us the token without taking away coins from us, especially when it's a very high amount of coins that you would take away.

You are though. People obviously spent the coins. There was no warning message that said not to. EA coded it incorrectly. You guys should be rewarding what was correct. This has happened in FC many times. They always reward the correct reward through compensation. Even on packs. What is the difference here?

The token to upgrade from 96 to 97 is worth what? 40k? People aren't asking EA to give everyone 7 Million Coins. We SHOULD BE. Because that would make it fair. But instead the community unanimously agrees that players should receive the reward they were expecting. And that's the hill you want to die on? That there was a mistake so now they shouldn't get the thing they wanted?The only reason someone would have completed the Tage 3 Objectives right away is if Tage was one of their favourite players. And now you're saying they shouldn't be able to upgrade him to 99? Wow.

You guys also know about the coin glitch by now but it didn't give a token for Tage upgrade. Just throwing that out so you guys know. People can't get 99 Tage without each token. Not trying to be rude or anything. Just informing.

So you directly false advertised the week 3 Tage reward. Just because it benefited us doesn't mean you don't have to correct. If you gave out 1 coin, you would correct. You're dying on a hill that essentially you are okay with the player base having the wrong rewards.

I don't understand ... don't you need 7mil coins for both solutions? If you don't have the coins yet, why don't you just PM EA_Aljo when you're ready? It sounds to me more like you're hoping to be able to buy this token pack with points as well 😅
btw ... not even 3 weeks until NHL 26. I don't understand all the stress for a 99ovr card that will be played for only 1 week

I believe xGwalt8 means that he needs to sell items because EA's solution is to exchange the token for coins instead of just giving the token to those who didn't get it.
As for why he wants a pack, I believe it's because more people would see that pack in the game than EA_Aljo's post on this forum and therefore more people would get to know about the possibility to get the token in exchange for the coins.

This is exactly why. This is their solution so their solution should be available to anyone who wants 99 Tage but couldn't get him because of EA's coding.

I'm not buying anything with points. I just don't want a backroom deal. If this is EA's solution to their error, they need to provide it for everyone via pack.

I got banned and I legit bought a goalie for max price because he’s was the only one on the ah and is 6’9. Height matters for goalies…unfortunately his pads did not change colors so I sold him for max price. This is still bs and I will never purchase another EA game. They need to do right by me as a loyal customer. It’s not my fault I spent the free 7mill in coins. Oh and also after the ban they will remove my coins…what a joke of a game.

I don't have any insight into what you did to get banned. Receiving the coins is fine. We didn't ban anyone for that. If they were spent in a way that broke the rules, action can be taken on the account. You'll need to submit a dispute with ToS to have them investigate your account.
