The Format

Speaking from an offline perspective. Does this version of NHL 25, motivate anyone to actually want to continue to play. 50 day schedule, with the same repetitious rewards, season after season. What is the goal? At least in the 24 version, you had the challenge of progression. Whether it be the 3 elite tiers. Or trying to escalate up the top 100 board. And the rewards were much more beneficial. Players plus coins. You had the opportunity to want to build your team, to more competitive levels. Now. It doesn't matter which level you play at. In the end. Everyone arrives at the same destination. This franchise has progressively gotten worse with each passing year. No longer do the developers dedicate their time and effort into making a game that resolves problems and concentrates on entertainment. But rather one that has one thing in mind. How much they can milk out of the everyday gamer. Their only concern it seems is the $ sign. Just look at the ridiculous price tag they put on the packs. $ wise. And the odds that this Vegas gambling outfit put up, are just as insane. Personally. I don't see this game getting any better. As long as this is the only NHL game on the market. They will continue with their reckless abandon. And ignore the complaints from the community. As they have for years.
