Not doable using skill stick. Clicking right stick before deke doesn't work either.
Toe drag shots using total control is incredibly difficult to get on target.
Just another badly thought out idea from the dev team.
Would like to see the devs post a video of them completing that objective. Or at least getting toe drag shots on target that register using skill stick.

It's doable it's just not logical. You give up a lot of great scoring chances trying for this low percentage move.
The deke itself is easy to do. Understanding you can't do it everywhere takes some basic skill. Doing it 25 times with Sharpshooter players in Competitive modes might as well take 50 games. Very rarely are you in alone on the goalie trying to lure them away from the post for a toe drag shot.
To pull off the shot you need to be on the forehand skating directly at the goalie. Click in on the right stick, pull back, flick up.
I've exercised this move numerous times, and not once did it register on XP season 1 toe drag shots with any player. Aggravating beyond belief. Just stopped trying, and added this to all the other stuff that's broken in this game. I agree with Jddev. Its not really worth trying to get yourself into a position to pull it off. And they want 75. Lmao
Can you let the team know that toe drag shot objectives should say "backhand toe drag shots" and not just "toe drag shots"? I mean those are two different things, and it's very misleading if backhand isn't mentioned when you are asking us to do backhand toe drag shots. If you only say "toe drag shots", it implies that you are asking us to do the actual toe drag deke and then shoot. But that's not what you are asking us to do when you are talking about toe drag shots. If you want us to do backhand toe drag shots, then you should say "backhand toe drag shots" and not just "toe drag shots".
