Transfer
EA. The question has been raised regarding the transferring of Hut coins from this year to the upcoming one. If the coins were a reward. I can understand not transferring them. However. If they were ...
I hear ya rockstar. What I'm contending is. If someone is paying out of pocket cash for points, and they still have them remaining at season end. They should be allowed to transfer them, or! Be given a credit of some sort. Whether it be in packs or whatever. And regarding hoarding. Valid point! However. What would be the difference of someone transferring say, $100 worth of points. As to just buying that same amount in 26. I cant see a hoarding aspect. People buying points usually intend on utilising them right away to purchase packs. But. It is what it is. I appreciate your feedback, and the point you make about hoarding. It is possible. Anyway. Take care bud. And GL going forward with 26.
So, my question to you then is why buy points at season end just before a new release? We both know EA discounts on packs pretty much don’t exist. So you’re not getting a discount on those end of game points. Why buy them and not spend them rather than wait until the new game when you wanted them? I could understand if your buying hundred dollar coin packages but if your doing that then money really isn’t an issue I wouldn’t think. It didn’t change as far as carrying over coins to new game versions so it makes me wonder why this would come as a surprise. I think it would be so much worse if people could hang onto coins and bring them to the next season because I firmly believe a new breed of hoarding players would start. They would sell everything end of season, carry points over and have a big advantage. It would create auction house players and give them an obscene advantage on new releases. I can only see a monthly subscription fee allowing continuation from a prior season as the only possible fix.
Not saying your point is anything but valid in its content. But there are two facets to the game. Earned/Given. And Bought/Purchased. Anything in the game that was not purchased by using a credit card.( since that is the current way of money transfer), should and always has been. Remain with that years game. All I am saying is. If you purchase something. It should remain yours. As a transaction has taken place between seller and buyer. The seller accepts payment. The buyer accepts the commodity. As an off the cuff example. You buy the game online. At the end of the year. Does EA reclaim the game. No!. It remains yours because of the buyer/ seller premise. Then coins purchased, should be given consideration at end of season, in whatever way EA decides to do. Presently. They just accept your money and tell you to use it before years end, without rebate of any sort. As for why I posted this. It does not affect me one way or the other. I have never paid for content in the game. Nor will I ever. But, this applies to those that do. Your last statement is a possible remedy. As long as monetary transactions are evaluated in a different way than they are now. Once again bud. Appreciate your feedback. Sorry for the late reply. Was serving a 3 day suspension.
