What exactly do you want? I don't fully understand.
You are complaining about the bigger increments in the bonus tiers, but at the same time you are complaining about finishing the XP path early. It seems to me like those two complaints are somewhat contradictory to each other. I mean isn't it less likely to finish early when the increments are bigger and therefore the XP path is longer? In that sense the bigger increments should be a good thing. But yes, it could be done in a different way. There could be more tiers with smaller increments and the XP path would be just as long as it is now, or even longer, if that's what you are asking for.
But I also want to remind you that at the start of the year we didn't have bonus tiers at all. Then at some point we got 10 bonus tiers, and now we have 20 bonus tiers. EA hasn't given us infinite bonus tiers even though we have been hoping for that, but at least they have done something to extend the XP path.
And I think we should also acknowledge the fact that EA is allowing us to carry over XP from the previous season to the next one, which is a major reason for finishing the XP path early. I don't believe they intended to do that in the first place and I don't know why they haven't prevented it. Even though it is nice to get a jump start for a new XP season, I believe things would be better if we had never been able to save XP from the previous season and use it towards the next one.
So my question is what exactly do you want? I know you want to get completely rid of the XP path, but if that isn't an option, what is the improvement you want to see in the XP path compared to the current situation?
