Yet another problem.

Playing SBs XP season 5 calls for complete perfect one timer shots any player. During the game I blasted 6 from the point. And at the end of the game. I was credited with 3. How many more problems can this game muster. Every week, there seems to be either a new problem, or a glitch. How serious do these developers take this game. Is it one where, well the game is complete. Vacation time. Sure seems that way. Still waiting on the multi load to be fixed. Perhaps by the time 27 edition comes out  they might have figured it out. And just for the record. Season 4 called for 200 one timers. That was easier to finish than this one is going to be.

  • Are you sure you got the green color for all of those 6 one timer shots? I mean attempting and completing a perfect one timer shot are two different things. If the objective was "attempt perfect one timer shots", then it wouldn't matter if you get the green or red color, but the objective is "complete perfect one timer shots", which means that you need the green color.

Vsfn. Oh yeah. The one timer shots were all point shots  directly at the goalie. 2 went in. The other 4 were either stopped or deflected. Like I stated earlier. Same event in season 4, where it was 200 instead of 100. Had no problem. Now. Hey. This is EA. The game of problems. Thanks for reply. Appreciate your update. Gl going forward in your games.

No, it wasn't the same objective in week 4. It was "attempt 200 perfect one timer shots" and now it's "complete 100 perfect one timer shots". I'm not sure if you're understanding the difference between "attempt" and "complete". The number was bigger in week 4 than in week 5 because it's easier to attempt a perfect one timer shot than to complete a perfect one timer shots. In week 5 you need to complete perfect one timer shots, which means that you need the green color. If you attempt a perfect one timer shot but get the red color instead of green, then it doesn't count. It would count if you only needed to attempt perfect one timer shots like in week 4, but it doesn't count when you need to actually complete perfect one timer shots like in week 5.

  • I think my message was clear when I stated it. 6 shots on goal. 2 went in  4 were saved or deflected by the goalie. And just to make my point. I had 8 shots registered as Complete 1 timer shots. I attempted 2 more, both from the point  both goals it registered the one timer goals, but just 1 as a complete 1 timer. I do fully understand vsfn what you meant by the difference. I was using that as a reference of the 200 being easier to attain. Thanks to you both for the feedback

And are you seeing the green target icon when you're shooting? If you aren't waiting for that, you aren't doing perfect 1T

Toss it into rookie difficulty and just blast D to D one timers, you will have no problem, just wait for the circle to appear when you shoot if the circle goes green it was a perfect one timer, those are the ones that count, it can't just be any one timer, needs to be the one that goes green.

I dont use the on ice trainer. So no green or red. Do appreciate all your feedback.

The green circle for perfect one timers is not part of the on-ice trainer. It shows up under your player when a perfect one timer occurs. If you don't see this, you're not contributing to the objective since you're just shooting a regular one timer.

Well. I don't see red, or green. Not important. The objective is complete now.

Here is a example of what you should be seeing. Under visual settings there is an option for Skill Based One-Timer Visualization, Maybe you turned this off? Anyways for future objectives regarding one-timers having this enabled will definitely speed up completion times, I'll also note that you won't always get perfect one-timers even with it enabled. Hope this info helps.
