At :18 you're skating away from the carrier. That would have been a good opportunity for a poke/hit. You disrupted the play earlier with your body. You also got a poke off previously. So, I'm really not seeing the issue here.

Most likely, just using your body instead of hitting will knock the puck loose.

At :18, you could have hit. A poke can also work here, but you need better positioning and timing.
