Feedback on servers

The title says it all.

EA takes away servers in the central area so the games against players in quebec are unplayable and virtually unwinnable.

EA then shuts off  the min max ping setting and I know this because my max setting is at 20 and I am getting games where my opponents more than 10 times in a week send me screen shots of their ping being anywhere from 40 to 80 ping.

The result of this is my game is slowed by EA to make up for their bad connection.... again unplayable and unwinnable games EA.

Why bother having the setting if it is not being used EA?

Then you have players using international ice because they have a server - ping  advantage and it is beyond frustrating as they can skate around untouched.

Come on EA moderators .... I would love to hear your response.

    Hello. The reason you're getting a higher ping is due to the closest server being farther away than the max ping you're setting.

    For an Ontario player.... Where are the servers I am being sent to?... Please list where they are

    Come on now and tell the truth. All Ontario players automatically have a disadvantage against all other players, especially those located in Quebec. If EA cannot be honest, what is the point of playing this series ever again?

    LOL     How do you think we feel out in the Prairies....... My ping isnt the worst out there but in the last 2 weeks im  averaging 36 to 38.  My max is set to 20.   The odd 1 in 15 game I can get 24 ping.  In most games, I feel that Im just delayed by abit but it seems enough to just be a step behind.

    You would be ending up on either NA East, NA Central or NA Northeast. We don't give out the specific cities they are in.

    so it could be thousands of kms away. Not automatically the closest server. Just dumb

    Matchmaking depends on the available player pool as well as rank and best ping. So, it's always possible you're going to end up on a server farther away due to finding a match that meets those requirements.
