3 is still requiring battle log so i understand this version will be probably unable to transfer, but what about the rest (mentioned) games please?

Hey @Denoversh you would need to download and install the game in Steam in order to launch and play it through Steam.

I'm kind of a steam fan as I'm much more comfortable with the layout, not to mention the vast majority of my friends are on steam, but not on origins. Do I understand correctly that I need to reinstall another copy of apex legends on steam if I want to play it on steam? As I already have a copy on origin, I am trying to avoid installing another copy, as Apex Legends is kind of a chunky game, taking up a fair amount of space, especially if I have it installed twice. Not to mention having to download it again would take a while, so I'm trying to avoid that. I have tried using the CD key in game properties from the origin launcher to see if steam would take that, but it did not recognize it unfortunately. And yes, my ea/origin and steam accounts are linked already, I did that back in 2019.

And finally, is it ok to delete the origin version of apex legends? Or is there any reason I should hang onto it in case of any unforeseeable problems?

Hey @StarfishySeastar if you plan to play through Steam then you can delete your Origin downloaded version.

Hey @BigGasOnly you need to download the game on Steam and then ensure that your Steam and Origin accounts (with the game data linked to it) are linked.

Hi I was able to move origin apex folder to steam apex legends folder with simple rename + click the game in the game shop   and play regularly so to tell it s preferred than download; however with an update post train event i was stuck at start screen with a known issue to fix by removing one of the files; but left 10 days and now one cant play unless i redownload the 30gigs. So im going try to reinstall from scratch with another copy of origin, and past the files in the new steam appex legends folder.

I have a problem with changing controls in game. My wife and I are playing from one computer and we have two accounts. I recently transferred to steam and I linked my origin account to it and left the origin game downloaded so that we don't have to log off/in from origin every time we want to play. What happens is that when I change my bindings on steam on my account, it also changes on origin on her account. Please, help me find a solution to this annoying problem.
