I needed to re-download the sims 4 and that goes with all of the packs as well but I only could download sims 4 but not the packs that I bought. I would tap the download button and nothing happened. I hope that anyone could know why this is happening. Thank you.
(I also use a Mac but this never happened before)
Same thing with me. Brand new laptop, brand new origin.
I ran Origin Reset but I can't download any of my expansion packs. The button just sits there after I tap it.
Having the same problem - can't download any packs and the download button does nothing. I called tech support and none of the suggestions they gave helped.
Replying to this threat (I've replied to two similar threads) just to say that I have had the same issue despite running through the whole entire troubleshooting list, short of resetting my entire Mac to factory settings. And no, it's not a hardware issue.
It's most decidedly an Origin issue.

Sooo I was having the same problems then it worked
this is what I did
I kept going to applications setting then going to client update. I turned off automatic games update and automatically update origin off. then signed out and quit origin the signed back in and re did it. I did this about 5 times. Then I went there again and only turned off automatically update Origin and participate in origin technical . So only automatic games update was on
then I quit origin then reopened it.
then that update origin screen pops up.
you click update origin. it takes a second then re log in too it and then then every pack you have will start to download.
you have to make sure origin is updated not the game.
I know what I wrote is kinda choppy but I hope this helps!
Yeah I am Having this same issue where I can not re-download my sims 4 expansion packs, it is really bothering me to be honest, because I want to do is play my game lol.
