it could easily be made available as digital versions of it were available for the PC, XBOX 360 and Playstation 3. this is once again a matter of EA not wanting to make older content available because you want us to shill out for the big new AAA release instead which cost 5x as much.  as far as I know there is no copyright issue with mercenaries because it does not contain any 3rd party content and because the studio that made it is now defunt (yet another example of EA's profit first and at all cost mentality) it is wholy owned and locked in your archives.  As for if it is a matter of the servers being offline (yet another pathetic excuse that EA makes) the game is 100% playable in singleplayer, it does not require the serverrs for functionality.  so how about this make it available huh...how hard is that?
