Heads of the Sims cut off in Family Editor + no shadows

Hi, fist of all, thanks for the re-release of the first two sims-games. A dream became true! (Nearly) But please, EA: Could you fix some issues? - If you choose a resolution higher than 1720 x 144...

It's me again. The problem with the cut off graphics is not only in the Family Editor, it is in the City view, too.

Look at those two screenshots. With 1720 x 1440 I can see every lot, in 3440 x 1440 they are no more in the field of view:
