Does anyone want to design something together...err, but individually...together?

I have to work tomorrow, but I'd be game to do it this evening if you were interested. My big plans for the night involve sitting on my couch and watching Community on Hulu. :lol:

...or, if it goes well and you decide to do it again in the future, I'd definitely be in. It sounds like a fun idea! :mrgreen:

:lol: Naw, man. I won't push additional contests for any reason...it's the will of the forum! I may have had a bit of luck in the recent contests, but I like 'em because it gets people focused on making their towns prettier and promotes a unique discussion in the otherwise suggestion/complaint/speculation department!

There's really only a small fraction of members who actually check out those contests (look at the numbers :? ). Unfortunately, there are far fewer people who actually vote in those threads. Even sadder, only a fraction of our members actually make a design and submit it to said contest. The biggest crime of all are those who only frequent game discussion and never bother to participate here! Frankly, we are all guilty of neglecting this Showcase section. :D

So I'm calling on all! From the most active members, to the silent masses, to the lurkers who design in the shadows: come on out and play - even if it isn't in this thread! There are pages and pages of previous designs and ideas...step into the light and show off your chops 8)

Yep, no timetable set yet. Even *when* we get an update, we can still "work" on something. I figured we could kick around some ideas for a few days and then see what happens!

I'm in the middle of a complete redesign, but kind of stumped on ideas of where to go next. This could be just what I need to get ideas to continue. Count me in.

The whole designing thing is new to me, since I inherited this account from my son when he found out girls are more interesting than games, and texting them is more important than tapping. So this is my first time designing a town.

Get the ball rolling...pick a building at random, or something we can work with. Remember, "there are no bad ideas in a brainstorm" :!:

Many of the buildings I'm currently working on and/or stumped by are on the possible contest list, but maybe I'll throw them out there anyway just in case? I think some were pretty low down on the priority list...

Power plant (been in the same place since I first built it...)
Hospital
Restaurant district
Waterfront area

I'm pretty flexible, those are just some things I'm thinking about. Anything sounding good so far?

Have you ever did a design but after it doesn't feel right and you get a new design
