UPDATE AUGUST 2014
This is another month of no new Springfield Guide placements to report on. There is however a number of Krustyland Map items to update you on, and its been a while since that has happened. I realize though, that it is not as important as Springfield. So if you are looking for only Springfield Guide accuracy, this is another month that you can skip reading.
This is the first month I have made the above panoramas using my Android tablet. You might not be able to tell from the above panorama, because I shrunk it to be a somewhat presentable size, that you can see without detail, and a guide enthusiast will still get the gist of it. But the raw panorama is twice the size of the panoramas I've been making with my old itouch. Those panoramas are about the size as the image of my patchy Krustyland.

Whats useful though is it takes a lot less screenshots to make a panorama. The pictures are also a lot easier to line up, and their are less buildings that disappear halfway offscreen, that I have to go back and fit. So overall, this tablet saves me a lot of time, and there are less mistakes.

The Sit-and-Rotate is on the guide, but I did not have the 10 million to buy it yet. I've been spending a lot of cash on bloodmobiles to raise my experience and milk extra donuts out of this game. I only had 3 million when the Sit-and-Rotate became available, and as of August 1st, I have 8 million. So I will definitely have the Sit-and-Rotate for you next month.
Of course I did not have to spend all that money on bloodmobiles, if Gil had come along when I expected him to. Before I get into my best guesses for things that are not on the guide, I must sadly report that I can no longer say that I only buy donuts from Gil. There was too much stuff that I wanted. My patience was running way too thin. And then I just happened to land a new job, and almost immediately, I broke: I bought a boatload of donuts for the standard price. And while I'm happy to have the extra money to pay for it, It still feels so dirty.
Are you happy EA? You won. I drew a line in the sand, you crossed it, and I flinched. You've got me over a barrel now, and I will never feel whole inside. But with that explanation out of the way, let me talk about what I bought with donuts!

I wanted the Left-handed Roadster so I could have a nice looking car taking up space in my Stonecutter/Towne Glenne parking lot. It now looks more like the parking lot is used by high-end consumers. I bought chester Lampwicks rocket car, so I could complete the look of his gold house. I bought the unfinished shed, which I would put in Dr. Hibberts backyard, if he had one. For now, it can go in any old backyard.
And with that out of the way, I can now get into the month of July.

For the July fourth celebration update, I experienced my first time really saying "Oh... I already got half of this stuff last year." I guess that means I'm getting old. I really wanted to get the fireworks barge, as I remembered that and Giuseppe's Workshop from the episode tie-in for Fit Milhouse.
http://i.imgur.com/m5pJiOI.jpg
In the episode, the fireworks barge was seen along a beach, in an uncommon part of town. I thought it would really throw this side of my lake together, because all the water to the east is pretty full up with Squidport, Junkyville, and the signature guide logo and compass. I'm still debating whether I will fill that last bit of water expansion up with the Duff Party Liner, or wait for something less wasteful than a 300 donut whale to become available.
And then there is Guiseppe's workshop. In the episode, Homer and Guiseppe drive with an excessive amount of dangerous explosives on the hood of Homer's car, through a cobblestone district, over a rickety bridge, and through the gaslight district, just get to the workshop.
http://i.imgur.com/StLLOQu.jpg
I got the feeling that Guiseppe lives where the guide shows Little Italy, which is of course, where you would find guys like Luigi, with Italian accents. And forgive my ignorance, but cobblestone and gaslight districts, sound like an import from old-world Europe. So I dumped old Guiseppe in between Luigi's restaurant and the Fireworks barge, in Little Italy.

Also, a number of Squidport performers were seen in the gaslight district during this episode. And since Little Italy is directly above Squidport, I was compelled to buy these 3 useless jerks.

I added George Washington and his pink tree right next to Abe lincoln and his cabin, behind fort sensible. The two most notable American Presidents chilling out in the same timeline? Actors, obviously. Forget all that time travel nonsense, I say. Actors who are dedicated to teach kids on field trips an abridged version of American history: It's the only reasonable explanation.
http://i.imgur.com/yvtjwZt.jpg
I also expect them to be added to Krustyland, where they can be rapping robots, like they were in the Duff Gardens episode. Thats why I also added that Itchy and Scratchy Billboard next to it. Really though, that Billboard just follows the "new billboard day" on Homers way to work. But it all seems to connect somehow.

Beyond that, I bought some more American flags, to add with the presidents, as well as the baseball diamond, the airport, and the naval base. I did my duty America. Now settle down.

For the yard sale, the only thing I bought, was the Cool Brown house. In the episode with all the hipsters, this house belongs next door to the Simpsons house, as a remodelled version of the plain old brown house. But its too cool, and the brown house is back to normal now. So I need to repurpose it.

There is an episode from Season 13 called The Lastest Gun in the West where Bart befriends a John Wayne/Clint Eastwood inspired movie cowboy named Buck McCoy. Buck lives in a rich part of Springfield, and his house can be found on the Springfield Guide, on the left side of Mount Springfield. I certainly had the room to repurpose it. It doesn't look very much like Bucks house except for the stonework, but I'm sure with some decorations, I could make it look more privileged cowboy-themed. I am certainly open to suggestions. Until I find a better house to repurpose, this is what I'm going to go with, if for no other reason than to fill up my Springfield Heights section with some expensive looking houses.

The Level 43 content update was exclusively about Krustyland, which I think is fair, because Krustyland has been hobbling along since we finished the Roller coaster a year ago, with a few sympathy rides during holiday events, and eventually becoming just a place to dump your unwanted holiday decorations for some extra kitsch points.

I haven't done a proper update on how to follow the Krustyland map since last January. Those Valentines decorations and Love Tunnel, had really nothing to do with the guide map, which I try to do as much justice to, as I do with the Springfield Guide... Just not nearly as often.

This update helped me organize the park a bit, and expand a little more. Even though I have long ways to go before all the land is bought, I was able to plug some unsightly open spaces, and have it look a bit more organized. Adding Peeta Fleet and Bumble Bee Man's Tacos trucks really helped to surround the Krusty Fountain like it is in the guide map. The beer fountain belongs out in front of the duff pavilion, and I also added the seven duffs to square it off.

The biggest impact of this update is on the western side of the map, with the Uninspired Log Ride, Krusty's One Plate Maximum Buffet, and Krusty's Big Wheel, lining all the way up to the Wet and Smokey Stunt Show. With enough room to add a few more things in the future, like the Waterless Waterslide and Poochie's Halfpipe, this is still enough stuff to fill an entire wall of previously empty space.

Tavern on the Scream was from the Itchy and Scratchy Land episode. And even though that is a different thing from Krustyland, I'd still like more content from that episode in here. Assuming that that other theme park is now defunct, I'd figure that Krusty would have aquistioned a lot of it. I'm not exactly sure where to put the tavern yet (besides the most empty space), but the name is likely a parody of a tavern on the stream. Their is a stream that flows between Mount Krustmore, and the roller coaster. If we ever get the ability to ad water spaces to Krustyland, I'll be sure to make that stream, and the add the tavern appropriately on it.

That was all for the month of July. I'm glad that more people who are following the Springfield guide want to add me, but right now my new device does not seem to allow me to seek out new neighbours. I can only accept invites. And really, If you want to be my neighbour and use my town as a reference for where to put guide stuff, I'd rather you seek me out, than the other way around. So please PM me, tell me you are recreating the Springfield Guide, and then send me an invite that I can accept.
Also, I've seen a lot of different guide towns. I can tell if you're just starting out and on your way to getting there, or if your using the guide loosely while doing your own twist on it, or if your not even trying at all. if I add you, and you are not following the guide like you said you were, then don't expect me to keep you as a neighbour for very long. That might be rude to say, but I am still very bitter for paying full price on donuts. And I'm already full on neighbours, so every new guide follower requires a sacrifice. Every single one of my neighbours that doesn't follow the guide, is still very active and very stellar at visiting me. I don't take losing them as lightly as I sometimes joke.
