My Medieval inspired castle
When we first got the castles / CoC content, while I thought it was all pretty cool, I saw them as representing just another standalone district that wouldn't really tie-in neatly to Springfield and would require an enormous amount of land in order to look good.
A lot of the great ideas I've seen posted in the castles thread make me re-think this. I really like the creative use of existing buildings and decorations in our towns in castle areas. e.g., the pumpkin house here, Muntz home, Giuseppe's workshop, freak show tent, Macaroni's shed, and many Stonecutter items. Thinking about it more, there are several other buildings that would also fit nicely.
I think your castle area looks great. It is spooky and medieval. The pumpkin house sitting just outside is a great touch--it fits with the idea of a witch's hut just outside the castle walls. For me, it sparks some memories of Baba Yaga from the Hero's Quest / Quest for Glory series.

Once I find the time to move everything in my town south one block (which will require a total re-design), I am so running with some of these ideas. Great work!
