My Springfield

Awesome work! It really is nice to look at the town from a bird's eye view isn't it? I feel like we build our whole town looking through a peephole!

You have a pretty consistent grid layout for your streets. Do you live in the Midwest? I've always lived in hilly areas where roads curve a lot. You'd have to place a lot of stop signs if there was more traffic!

Lol seriously, it looks great. Happy Friday! Let's celebrate: call Moe's, we're on our way!

Hey 4junk3000, I like your town and design concept too!

Yes, it's nice to see your whole, entire town from a bird's eye view! You notice things. Immediately I realize I have too many brown houses, but a lot of those blocks are just holding space for buildings the game will add in the future. And I wish I could push my Squidport out more to leave more water between the pier and the beach.

I've lived in big cities along the West Coast all my life. I just like clean lines and density.

    Cheers!
  • There ARE a lot of brown houses, at first i thought you were creating a military barracks kind of thing. They are easily sacrificed for new property though, so no big deal. Or you could trade them each for other houses just to mix up the color while we want for new releases.

You have such a nice big residential area though! I wanted mine bigger. Nice allocation of land resources. My big map has highlighted my excess of parking lots. But like you said, I too plan to use them for future growth, so it will all fill up eventually.

But hay now, is that an entry-level KL bus stop i see?? How could you stand for that?? Now your redesign is done, time to get on KL!!
No rest for the weary - tapper! =)
