By amazing luck of timing, I removed all my roads the night before I got the snow update which was being suggested as coming a week later.
Unfortunately I was expecting the snow to cover concrete and not just grass, so it was not the white-out effect i imagined - but it still looked cool and I had fun plowing the whole town. I also put away some summer items at the beach, etc. Closed til next season!
I've been logging in like every 4 hrs during the event and each time I plowed a little more of the town streets, and repositioned the plow accordingly. Hopefully my visiting neighbors got a chance to see it unfold over the last few days.
I wish I was motivated to take pics each time, but I just got this last one. The whole town is done now - except in front of Homer's - because Wiggum blocked the street using the SWAT van for satellite TV when the cable went out. A foot of snow dropping in <1 min will take down some wires I guess. Lisa doesn't seem to mind. Only Nelson's street hasnt been plowed yet either.(not pictured) I can hear his mom saying "don't hold your breath!"
I also forgot how the snow bares the trees that concealed parts of the homes I attempted to look reversed and made back yards for.
If anyone likes making gifs maybe someone will make the plow going down a street as their avatar! Too bad it only goes two directions not four.
