- I put mine in my gated community. There's house on both sides of the park and the community centre is in the park
- I put mine near the school so kids go go there during and after. I added the hammock and bench to hangout on and the butterfly tent so kids could learn. Rather logical, I know, but I try to make my Springfield more real.

I guess this is the where I should post this. :D
I took the roofing as a unique aspect to the buildings overall design.
And incorporated that V-shaped idea back into the layout.
Started with the blue lamposts encompassing the front and side
of the building along the pathway which is also v-shaped.
The hedges are V-shaped at the parking area.
The trees are lined up in a V-shaped manner.
I wanted the layout to flow with the roofing
but in subtle ways not to have it so obvious.

Just a few suggestions (feel free to ignore)
1. i dont think you need that much benches in the car park..actually are they meant to be benches or are you using them as some sort of divider?
2. the boardwalk fencing seens to have ended abruptly of the left
3. the break in the cobblestone wall to put a phone doesnt seem quite right
otherwise
good idea to put xmas tree in community centre park. why dont you make it the centrepiece of your park? build around it?stacykan wrote:
I'm in the middle of designing my town. I couldn't figure this building out so went with a hedge pattern but it doesn't really feel like a Community Center, not sure if I'll keep it this way.
absolutely love the hedge pattern. gorgeous!!! :D
why dont you keep the hedge pattern but make it narrower on both sides? maybe add some other items like playsets, tables in the extra space?Maegnificent wrote:

Thanks for the feed back Mae, yer with the benches I was trying to make a like a low wooden barrier to go around the car park. As for the fence I was going to continue it but the tree was in the way and well you know the council to lazy to move it. I like the idea of making the xmas tree the centre piece, it wasn't evan going to be in there but I was moving a fue other items around and it was in the way so that spot was the closest place to move it.But I will have to see what I can come up with.- I have mine next to the Retirement Castle so Abe and his friends have somewhere to hang out...
