I've been doing some redesigning and wasn't very sure what to do with those tall buildings like Royal Tokyo, Claus co, King Homer Skyscraper etc... then I came up with this and so far it has become my favourite design. I try to keep those types of buildings up against the mountains, so they dont tie up so much land behind them due to their height.

I like it. I like the effect, excluding Death Mountain. If you have the land then you have more options for a backdrop.

Mine are in the SH dumping ground. I keep them out since they earn but I don't have enough land to decorate with them. Someday they will hide ISBBs and C6NVs. ;)

I have way to much land and I don't even know what to do with most of it so its ok for my town. Plus its great to hide a lot of things behind for %.

I really like the homer kong building. I missed it after I stopped playing for close to a year. Apple's fault for making a IOS version that force me out of the game unless I update the iphone. I do not have a PC to update via Itunes then.

I like it too. But I've had it stored for a long time because since its black&white and Homer Kong is constantly on it at all times it doesn't go with anything else.

I was sort of going for a downtown Tokyo. I placed the skyscrapers so Homer Kong would be hidden.

Skyscapers are some of the more difficult things to build around, as the cover up space behind them. I have mine dispersed around town, with some town town, and some in a future area (where we had a lot of them). Here is one example:
