Advice on KEM farming

Kwik-E-Marts have the best $/XP ratio in the game, especially the first 25 or so (as they get more expensive the more you get, up to about that point). They take 4 hours to build. If you have a decently-high bonus multiplier from various items, and use some donuts to turn on the XP Collider (multiplies all XP by 5), you can get level-ups from buying a bunch of KEMs every 4 hours, selling them as soon as they're constructing, and repeating.

I tend to net ~30 donuts a day after the cost of the XP collider (best to buy the 10 day one, as it's the cheapest cost per day in donuts), and I have a ~370% cash/XP multiplier and the full Springfield Heights hidden XP multiplier (I forget how much that is, I think between 100% and 200%).

  • If you click on the link below in my signature, you will find a previous thread with lots of info on KEM farming. Hope you find it useful. If you have all the Springfield Heights buildings in your town, there is a 153% 'hidden' XP bonus too, click the other link in my signature to read about SH bonuses.
  • If you are trying to KEM farm in the most dollar efficient way you also build and sell some Krusty Burgers. KBs give 25% more xp, so when they are cheaper you should think about building them.

It's nice to have a farming thread that's actually about farming advice for a change and not just everyone pestering that James guy.

    That poor James guy.
  • Did something change on the payback when selling KEM's? So that you have a diminishing return? Maybe I missed that, but I noticed it today for the first time. After you sell so many they start to pay less when you sell them? Is that the same now with bloodmobiles, or anything else? I've never really done a whole lot of buying and selling items, usually just when I was close to the number of donuts I needed for an item. Has that always been that way, and I just noticed? Thanks in advance!

They sell for a quarter of what you bought them for. The price of the first 25 KEMs goes up incrementally. So, once you get inside of 25 KEMs, each one you sell you'll get less in return than the previous one.
