Anyone else having to constantly redownload the latest update over and over?

As the title says, over the last 2 days I’ve had to download the update (or the actual game) multiple times any time I’m not playing for a couple of hours. (Using an iPad). Honestly, I’ve been playing...

Cant connect is not the same as downloading the game files over and over because Apple decided to delete them - and no-one is tapping while the servers are offline.
EA are dealing with the server issues, so all there is to do for that is wait
