It was still available for purchase, and not listed as "limited time" after Christmas 2012. It was in my premium build menu when I started playing just before the Valentine's event in 2013. It was definitely on my mental wish list, but I didn't get around to buying it - one day, it just disappeared from the menu. That's how I remember it, anyway!
