Hate the event. The crafting reminds me of the Cursed Easter Event! Horrible! :( Makes me to miss Josh Sherer, hope the spelling is not too far off...

I like the event - some cool buildings and decorations.
Good points:
Only need to log in every 4 hours to redo tasks at the casino and clear gamblers.
Finally a use for Paris Texan, makes getting to the billion more satisfying.
I actually like the strategy aspect of upgrading and crafting, which I will do late in act 3
People get benefit from having premium characters that can do casino tasks
Some buildings able to be placed on squidport
Not-so-good point:
Why the same characters with tasks at the casino for every act? As others have said, it makes the railyard tasks much more time consuming.
